Art materials, office supplies and paper products are just a handful of items that help keep our programs ticking.

Michael’s Place relies heavily on the generosity of caring individuals and organizations who volunteer time and donate various in-kind contributions. Without this critical support, Michael’s Place would be unable to offer its services to grieving kids, teens and adults on a no-cost basis.

Providing hope and healing following the loss of a loved one involves a great deal of emotional support. To aid in the process, Michael’s Place staff and volunteers rely on many useful materials and supplies in the course of our work. These materials are often donated to ease the financial burden of Michael’s Place so that the focus can remain on healing.

If you would like to make a contribution of supplies to Michael’s Place, below are frequently used and needed materials:

• Office supplies such as paper, pens, pencils, tape, toner cartridges, staple/staplers, paper clips, etc.
• Kitchen supplies for community meals such as napkins, paper plates, plastic utensils, paper towel, etc.
• Craft supplies such as markers, crayons, paper, glue, beads, yarn, string, stickers, scissors, etc.
• Books for children, youth and adults with a focus on healing and recovery following a loss
• Meals and food supplies for community dinners and snacks
• Gift card for books for our lending library
