Robin’s Nest

Children who lose a loved one grieve for love, lessons, and normalcy.

“… I had a lot of fun. It was the best thing I did all week, maybe all my life…” – Written by a 10 year old who lost her father 3 years before

Robin’s Nest is a monthly, activity-based program designed to provide a reprieve from the loss that comes from grief and give children and their families the opportunity to have a “best” day again.

Bereaved children and teens often feel like the “odd man out” when participating in activities with peers who have not experienced such a loss. Through Robin’s Nest program, children participate in fun, active, and educational activities, while giving both the children and their families an opportunity to build a support network of peers who understand.
